Ken Symons

A commercial painter by trade, Ken Symons discovered the joys of oil painting after retiring from a career in the sign design and manufacturing industry. He has trained with renowned Canadian painter Ron Hedrick and is an honourary member of the Stave Falls Artist Group.

Ken enjoys capturing urban, rural and quirky scenes, sketching and painting landscapes en plein air, or inhouse. He is currently using acrylic or oil as a medium.

He lives in Sechelt, on the Sunshine Coast B.C., with his wife Roberta, where they share a studio with their daughter, Christina.

Ken's work is held in private collections and is available for viewing by appointment.
